An internet connection for meetings. Live transcription, enhanced notes, briefings, and Ask all run through Amlin's servers. Dictation does not.
Disk space for the on-device speech model that dictation downloads on first use (~450 MB).
Not supported
Intel Macs. The build is Apple Silicon only.
Windows and Linux. Amlin is macOS-first by design; there are no plans for a Windows version.
The Mac App Store. Amlin is a direct download, because App Store sandboxing would make system-wide dictation impossible.
