Every note in Amlin has two views, switched with the segmented control in the header:
✎ My notes — exactly what you typed, untouched, forever.
✦ Enhanced — the merged AI output.
Why two views instead of one
You should never have to wonder whether the AI rewrote something you wrote. Keeping the raw version intact and separate means:
You can check what you actually captured at any moment
Re-enhancing is safe — it only ever touches the Enhanced view
Nothing you typed can be lost to a bad generation
Reading provenance inside the Enhanced view
Within the Enhanced view, text is colored by origin:
Black — your own words, preserved
Gray — detail Amlin added from the transcript
This comes from generation itself, not from a fuzzy after-the-fact comparison, so it's reliable.
Both views are fully editable
Type in either one. Fix a name, delete a line, add a thought — Amlin autosaves continuously. There's no save button and nothing is lost on a crash or a quit.
One thing to know: if you edit the Enhanced view and then re-enhance, your manual edits there are replaced. Amlin warns you first. Your raw notes are never affected.
Which view gets copied or shared
Whichever one you're looking at. Copying from the Enhanced view also includes the action items; copying from My notes gives you just your text.
