Search

⌘K searches every note title, body, and transcript instantly.

Written by Junan Pang

Press ⌘K anywhere in Amlin to open search. It covers:

  • Note titles

  • Note bodies — both your raw notes and the enhanced versions

  • Full transcripts

That last one matters: you can find a meeting by something that was said in it, even if you never wrote it down.

Using it

Type, then use ↑ / ↓ to move through results and Enter to open one. Esc closes.

Search vs. Ask

  • Search finds the meeting. Use it when you know roughly what you're looking for.

  • Ask (All meetings) answers the question across meetings and cites its sources. Use it when you want the answer, not the document.

Search runs against a local index, so it stays instant and works with no network connection.
