A template is the section structure Enhance writes into. It's the difference between a generic summary and a note that's actually shaped like the meeting you just had.
The built-in templates
Template | Sections |
General (default) | Summary · Key Points · Decisions · Action Items |
Customer Discovery | About Them · Their Problem / Pain · Current Solution · Requirements · Budget & Timeline · Objections · Next Steps · Action Items |
1:1 | Wins / Updates · Blockers · Feedback (both directions) · Growth & Development · Action Items |
User Interview | Background · Goals · Pain Points · Feature Requests / Reactions · Notable Quotes · Insights · Action Items |
Standup | Yesterday · Today · Blockers · Action Items |
Sales Call | Account Overview · Needs / Use Cases · Stakeholders · Objections · Pricing Discussion · Next Steps · Action Items |
Sections with no supporting content are dropped, never padded with filler.
Choosing one
Click the ▾ next to the view toggle in the note header and pick a template. The current one shows as a chip in the note's meta row (✦ Sales Call).
Amlin also guesses a template from the meeting title — a calendar event called "Weekly standup" or "1:1 — Alex" gets the matching template automatically. You can always override the guess.
Changing the template after the fact and re-enhancing rewrites the note into the new structure.
Building your own
▾ → Edit templates… opens the template editor. A custom template is a name plus an ordered list of sections, each with a line of guidance describing what belongs in it. For example:
Objections — concerns or hesitations raised about adopting, pricing, or switching
That guidance is what steers the model, so it's worth being specific. Custom templates appear in the same picker as the built-ins.
