The Custom Dictionary is the shared vocabulary behind both halves of Amlin. It lives in Settings → Custom Dictionary.
Add a term once and it's used to:
Bias speech recognition — so the word is heard correctly in meetings and dictation
Enforce spelling and casing — so it's written correctly in transcripts, dictated text, enhanced notes, and Ask answers
That's why it's a top-level Settings section rather than a dictation sub-setting: one list, both products.
What's worth adding
Colleagues', customers', and prospects' names
Company and product names — yours and your customers'
Acronyms and internal jargon — ARR, MQL, K8s, project codenames
Anything Amlin keeps getting wrong
Adding terms
Type the term in the field at the top of the section and press Add or Enter. Terms are listed alphabetically as removable chips. Click the × on a chip to remove one.
Terms carry a few optional properties, shown when you hover a chip:
Sounds like — alternate pronunciations to listen for
Forced casing — whether Amlin should re-case the word (eBay, McKinsey) or just use it as a recognition hint
Scope — a term can be marked dictation only or meetings only when it should apply to one and not the other
auto — the term was learned from a correction you made, rather than typed by hand
