Nothing is being transcribed at all

Capture starts but neither channel produces text.

If neither Me nor Them produces any text, work through these:

1. Is capture actually running?

The bottom bar should read ≋ Listening · 00:12 with moving audio bars. If it says Not recording, click ● Start transcribing. If it's stuck on Connecting…, that's a network problem.

2. Are you signed in?

Live transcription runs through your account. If you're signed out you'll see an inline sign-in prompt instead of a transcript.

3. Are you online?

Live transcription requires a network connection. Notes remain fully editable offline, but nothing is transcribed until you're connected.

4. Is Microphone granted?

System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Amlin. Without it, the "Me" channel is silent.

5. Are you over a plan limit?

If you're over the monthly meeting-hours cap, new captures can't start and you'll see a limit notice with an upgrade option. Anything already in progress finishes normally.

6. Is another app holding the mic exclusively?

Rarely, an app grabs exclusive microphone access. Quit other audio apps, then start again.

7. Did the session hit the 3-hour ceiling?

On the Free plan, a single session stops at three hours with a message. The text captured up to that point is preserved and enhances normally.
