Enhancement failed or produced nothing

What each enhancement failure means and how to recover — your notes are never lost.

First, the important part: nothing is lost. Your raw notes and your transcript are stored locally and are untouched by a failed enhancement. Retrying is always safe.

"Sign in to transcribe meetings" / sign-in required

Enhance runs through your account. Sign in from the inline prompt, or Settings → Account & Sync, then run ✦ Enhance again.

A plan-limit notice

You're over your monthly allowance. Your transcript and notes are intact and will enhance once the limit resets or you upgrade. See Plans & limits.

A network error

Enhancement needs a connection. Reconnect and run ✦ Enhance from the note's meta row — it'll pick up where it left off.

The note came out thin or empty

Usually one of:

  • The transcript is mostly silent — check whether the "Them" channel was ever heard. See Amlin isn't hearing the other side of the call.

  • The meeting was very short, with little to work with. Amlin prefers to omit rather than pad — a thin note usually means thin source material.

  • The wrong template was applied, so most sections had no supporting content. Switch templates and ↻ Re-enhance.

It overwrote edits I made to the Enhanced view

Re-enhancing replaces the Enhanced view — Amlin warns before doing so. Your My notes view is never touched. To keep edits safe from a future re-enhance, put them in your raw notes.
